A beautiful needlepointed rug is backed with brown fabric and trimmed with tan twisted cording. A single seam is quilted through the layers to keep it flat and add a slight padding to the outer edge.
|

This elegant mermaid is finished into a small eyeglasses case. The long custom twisted cording allows the case to be hung from a lamp switch. Backed with blue ultrasuede fabric and green silk dupioni to match the design. Designer model for Tish Watkins of Happy Heart Designs.
|

An elegant Christmas Wreath is finished into a flat-backed wreath with a slightly padded front. It is backed with matching red velveteen fabric and has a hidden hanger so it can be hung on the wall with no visible hanger. The red twisted cording trim accents the design without being overpowering. Designer model for Tish Watkins of Happy Heart Designs.

This needlepoint design is finished into a Christmas Cracker using
gathered red silk dupioni and custom curled ribbon. The cracker is

This stand-up box is the perfect place to hide your stash of candy
canes! The stand-up box is lined with red silk dupioni and a red
silk base. Custom twisted cording of matte green, shiny red, and
wool blue accent the edges of the design. Bells and loops can be
undone to open the box, which has a one-inch depth.
Canvas design by Deborah Forney (ANG National Seminar Tucson 2006). |

This Crab Design was finished as a suede box. The box has a
removable lid and base. The interior base is tufted in a seashell
spiral pattern with glass beads. The outside of the box sides have
additional beads tacked through the water pattern. The waves are
hand-painted. Found objects, shells, charms, and beads are wired
to the box lid.
Canvas design by Deborah Forney, to be taught at ANG National Seminar
Baltimore 2007.

A Flat-Fold is excellent for seasonal pieces, as
it allows them to store flat and take up little space. This

fabric has gold sprinkles on it. Design by

A hanger perfect for a doorknob, lamp switch, or as a wall hanger.
This hand-painted needlepoint canvas is finished with a hardback,
trimmed with ribbon fringe and a beaded edge. The wired hanger is
also beaded. Design by The Collection, part of an upcoming monthly

This needlepoint canvas ladybug was sent to me finished. The
backing had been destroyed by a pet, so I took it apart by hand. I
then removed the iron-on interfacing (not acid-free) and cleaned the
piece. The edges of the canvas were edged with bias tape to
prevent further fraying. The piece was then put back together in
the same shape. Handpainted canvas from Lee. |
