This needlepoint design is backed with two fabric frames of velveteen fabric. The green fabric frame is gathered to add detail to the design. Soft blue and green twisted cording accents the first frame. The pillow is trimmed in a matching multi-loop trim and backed in white satin moire fabric. It is zippered and stuffed with a down insert. Designer model for Tish Watkins.

 

This needlepoint design was blocked and then sewn into a pillow with boxed edge and self-welted cording.  The finishing fabric is a dark red velvet.  Down pillow form inside.  At 20" square, this is a large pillow. 

 

This needlepoint design was already blocked.  It was sewn into a pillow with boxed edge and thin self-welted cording.  The finishing fabric is a dark brown velvet.  Down pillow form inside.  15" square. 

 

This cross-stitch design was sewn into a fabric-framed pillow with fabric-covered cording.  (Would be self-welt, except it's a contrasting fabric.)  The back Mariner's Compass quilt block was made to match the design.  Design by The Silver Needle.

 

This vintage needlepoint piece was refinished from a worn out pillow.  It was blocked and then sewn into a ruffled front round pillow.  Twisted cording trim accents the front of the design.  Purchased tassel trim decorates the edges.  Silk dupioni fabric is used for finishing. 

 

This needlepoint design was blocked and then sewn into a cushion with a zippered opening and loop fringe trim.  The backing is a dark red moleskin.  Traditional Florentine Bargello pattern stitched by myself, Summer Louise Truswell.

This needlepoint design has gold cording around the design (you can see the blue stitched border in part of the picture).  It has a mitered-corner fabric-framed front of blue denim, and brush fringe trim.  The back is blue denim with a zippered opening.

 

This floral needlepoint design had curved edges.  It is finished with a passion suede, straight-edge fabric-framed front, self-welt cording, and zippered back. 

This needlepoint pillow has a sewn-in twisted cording chosen to match the greens in the design.  The zippered backing is sage green linen chosen by the customer. 

 

This needlepoint design is sewn into a knife-edge pillow with a self-welted cording edge.  The backing and cording fabric is a dark red velveteen which perfectly matches the red of the wool.  Peanuts Snoopy design.

This needlepoint design is finished with a red silk dupioni fabric frame and backing, and trimmed with a wide red twisted cording.  Zippered opening.

 

This needlepoint design was blocked and then sewn into a pillow with knife-edge finish and twisted cording trim.  The backing fabric is dark green ultrasuede.  Design by Candamar.

 

I finished these matched pillows for my Father-in-Law.  His mother had passed away before finishing them.  He saved the needlepoint and wool, so I was able to finish the stitching, and then sew the pillows.  The trim matches the burgundy wool, and the back of the cushions is a suede-like fabric. They are zippered and measure 15" square each. One design is Bucilla, the other is Paragon Needlearts. Stitching on penelope canvas in wool yarn.

This needlepoint pillow is backed with a woven fabric and trimmed with cream chenille twisted cording.  Side zipper allows for easy cleaning; filled with a custom down pillow insert.  Design by Erica Wilson.

 

This rug hook piece was sewn into a pillow with knife-edge, and zippered opening.  The canvas is hemmed to prevent unraveling inside the pillow cover.  The backing fabric is a green velveteen.
